A Man of God Doesn’t Just Avoid Evil — He Drives It Out

A Man of God Doesn’t Just Avoid Evil — He Drives It Out

Psalm 101 ends like a commander giving orders:

“My goal each day will be to destroy the wicked… I will force all who do evil to leave the city of the Lord.” — Psalm 101:8 (ERV)

That’s not “private faith.” That’s leadership.
That’s a man who understands territory.

Daily Is the Keyword

David didn’t say “my goal this year.”
He said each day.

Because evil doesn’t take days off.

“Be careful. Watch out. Your enemy the devil is like a roaring lion…” — 1 Peter 5:8 (ERV)

A lion doesn’t schedule your attack. It waits until you’re careless.

How Do You Enforce Order Daily?

You don’t win spiritual battles with hype. You win with equipment and routine.

“Put on the full armor of God.” — Ephesians 6:11

Armor is not for church. Armor is for war. And you don’t put armor on once a month.

Daily order looks like this:

  1. Daily Word (truth resets your mind)

“Your word is a lamp for my feet.” — Psalm 119:105

  2. Daily prayer (keeps you aligned with command)

    “Pray continually.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:17

  3. Daily resistance (you don’t negotiate)

“Stand against the devil, and he will run away from you.” — James 4:7 (ERV)

  4. Daily house rules (you protect your environment)

“As for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.” — Joshua 24:15 (principle)

What Does “Drive It Out” Look Like Today?

It means you aggressively remove what corrupts your territory:

  • porn, flirting, lust inputs

  • dishonesty

  • chaos habits

  • toxic voices

  • laziness and spiritual drift

Not because you’re trying to “be good.”

Because you’re protecting the city of the Lord—your home, your marriage, your mind, your children, your mission.

Encouragement

When you step into your role, heaven backs you.

God gives discernment to gatekeepers.
Authority to protectors.
Strength to men who stop playing games.

If you want more territory, guard what you already have.

God Bless You!
